We partner with churches and ministries to get more people excited to serve, unleashing them to live out their unique calling, and helping ministry leadership create an environment to do so.
Our Story
Every person is uniquely designed and wired by their creator to glorify him and serve in his kingdom. Yet statistics show, 20% of members are doing 80% of the ministry at church. Our late founder, Lori Lorig, realized this and set up a sustainable member ministry system to engage more people in service when she was hired in 2008 as a Personal Member Ministry Coordinator at Trinity Lutheran Church in Crete, Illinois.
She helped maximize the church’s greatest resource, its people, by getting the right people serving in the right places for the right reasons.
At one point 399 members of the 400 who worshiped every week were actively serving in ministry at Trinity. Since then more than 700 people including students have participated in the self-discovery workshop, which allows people to live intentionally, based on how God has designed them. In 2016 she launched Faith Unleashed Consulting, to get more off pastor’s plates and more people actively living from their gifts and strengths in their church and community using the Member Ministry System. Several years later, the Member Ministry Network was established to offer professional support, encouragement and share best practices with fellow ministry coordinators.
Realizing leadership was a key component of the success and longevity of positive changes in churches, Faith Unleashed partnered with Cindy Jansen, a leadership facilitator and coach to offer leadership development courses, webinars, live workshops and coaching.
To date we have served dozens of congregations, Christian groups and presented at numerous conferences while we continue to consult churches to establish Member Ministry systems, provide facilitator development coaching and workshops, and individualized experiences to serve your unique church.
While the team has grown, our mission hasn’t. We are honored to have the opportunity to walk alongside churches, its leaders and individuals to fan the flame of the Holy Spirit’s gifts and unleash people for service and impact.

Meet The Team
Pastor Frank Italiano
Lead Pastoral Consultant

Pastor Frank Italiano serves as the Lead Pastoral Consultant, and seeks to share his insights and experience with other pastors and congregations that are considering beginning a Member Ministry Program in their congregation.
Pastor Italiano served as the lead pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Crete, IL for 26 years after graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 1999. He is passionate about using music to proclaim God’s Word. That also means he is passionate about motivating and equipping members of his church to use their musical gifts and abilities. In May 2025 he became the Pastor of Discipleship at St. Paul's Lutheran in Muskego, WI. Frank has been married to his wife Gretchen, and they have been blessed with 4 children: Madelyn, Margaret, Melody, and Frank III. Recognizing the blessings of getting the right person in the right place in all areas of ministry, Pastor Italiano wants to share what a powerful kingdom's impact it can have.
Cindy Jansen

Cindy Jansen is a leadership facilitator and coach with a firm in Brookfield, WI. Working solely with leaders at all levels, Cindy helps them build their skills and impact the lives of the people whom they serve. Prior to working solely in leadership development, she worked in the field of human resources for 18 years.
Raised in the WELS, Cindy attended Lutheran schooling through 12th grade. She graduated from UW-Whitewater with a degree in sociology, and then continued to Cardinal Stritch University, where she received her Masters of Business Administration. As an active member of Christ Lutheran in Big Bend, Wisconsin, Cindy is involved in her church, school and Personal Member Ministry team. Cindy lives in Mukwonago with her husband, Travis and children: Colton, Evangeline and Boyd.
Faith Unleashed and Cindy have partnered to deliver customized Christian leadership training. Both recognize that the shared missions and synergy can be leveraged for the benefit of God’s kingdom, and more specifically for leaders in the local church. Cindy is committed to providing in-person, online and recorded leadership training as well as individual and team leadership coaching. Cindy looks forward to partnering with you in unleashing the potential of well-equipped Christian leaders in your church.
Marilyn Sievert
Lead Ministry Consultant, Trainer & Author

For nearly 25 years, Marilyn worked as a professional trainer in the engineering and manufacturing sectors of business and industry. At times, she was a one-person training department, creating, maintaining and growing a small learning center that served nearly 1,500 individuals during her tenure. While developing her own skills and those of all employees from entry-level employees through executive leaders, she observed, practiced, trained and evaluated behaviors that make or break a person in the workplace. She especially enjoyed one-on-one development sessions with her own employees. Their growth and personal achievement was incredible to experience! Teaching the Leading Change course at Wisconsin Lutheran College in the Professional Studies program has been a joy. She also enjoyed being on the portfolio evaluation team for students who were nearing graduation. Her personal Strengths Finder strengths are Positivity, Connectedness, Ideation, Learner and Woo. She is eager to engage in conversation about you, and how God is honored as you fulfill your potential to His glory.
Cathay Moldenhauer

Cathy Moldenhauer is a Personal Member Ministry Coordinator at Good Shepherd Lutheran in West Bend, WI. Previously, she was a professional school counselor for 11 years. She led professional training for her school district teachers, individual and group counseling, and helped teachers develop strategies to work with their students.
Her interest in psychology has made her passionate about helping members at her own congregation to discover their personality and spiritual gifts and how to serve others with those gifts. She enjoys using her administration gifts to serve as Women’s Ministry Coordinator. She also has the gift of music and enjoys singing in a small group and adult choir at Good Shepherd.
Cathy is excited to be helping congregations develop their personal member ministry system. This process of tailoring member ministry systems to congregation needs is a privilege and honor.
She is married to Paul and has two daughters, Cora and Paige. They love to camp, hike, fish and mountain bike together.
Tania Kopplin

Tania Kopplin has been doing ministry in a variety of contexts for over 30 years. She has spent most of her time as a full-time elementary teacher at Lutheran elementary schools. In 2020, Tania retired from full-time teaching to pursue developing a Children and Family Ministry at Divine Peace Church in Rockwall, Texas. However, because of post covid and being at a new mission church there were not many children at that time. This is when the church began consulting with Faith Unleashed. Tania became the Personal Member Ministry Coordinator, began training with Faith Unleashed Consulting and became part of the Ministry Network. Tania served as the PMM Coordinator for 3 years.
In 2024, Tania passed the baton to a new coordinator. She is now using her training and knowledge to develop a Children's Ministry and resources, based on the same 8 key concepts for PMM. Tania is blessed to be mom of three beautiful children ages 26, 23, and 20, that love Jesus and also use their gifts to serve their community, their church and their Savior.

Paul is currently retired after 45 years of public ministry, serving as a WELS teacher, principal, Program Administrator at Christian Life Resources and as a deferred giving counselor at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School.Paul has served on the Personal Member Ministry team at his home congregation (Bethlehem in Menomonee Falls and Germantown, WI) for four years, and specifically serves as a leader of the Discovery workshops. He has seen the positive changes that have developed through Member Ministry and is excited to help fellow members recognize their own spiritual gifts and find personal joy in serving as part of the body of Christ.
Amy graduated from college with a degree in organizational communications and assumed professional roles in management, leadership and sales. She passionately uses those skills and experiences now in various ministry roles in her home congregation – Bethlehem in Menomonee Falls and Germantown, Wisconsin. Amy’s role in her congregation’s member ministry effort is equipping various leaders to recruit, train and retain others to serve effectively and joyfully within the body of Christ.
Amy is married to Paul and living in Menomonee Falls. They have five adult children and seven grandchildren. Both Amy and Paul are eager to meet others and help them discover their God-given spiritual gifts and identify ways to use them to glorify and honor the Lord.

Marcie is the Member Ministry Coordinator at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Menomonee Falls/Germantown, Wisconsin, where she has served in that capacity since 2021. Her career path has allowed her to travel through a variety of Lutheran organizations, working with people of all ages. This experience taught her that all Christians play an important role in God's kingdom. She firmly believes that the Faith Unleashed system of empowering and equipping members to live out their personal ministry has been a game-changer for her congregation. Marcie loves seeing the joy on member's faces as they serve where God has gifted them to do so. Using her gifts of Administration, Showing Mercy and Shepherding, she enjoys assisting new congregations and coordinators with Personal Member Ministry.
Marcie is married to Joel and has two children, Annelise & Max.

Colleen joined the team in 2020 after spending more than 10 years in business administration and project coordinating roles in the construction and environmental service industry.
After Taking the S.H.A.P.E.D to Serve class at Trinity Lutheran Church in Crete, IL she discovered her spiritual gifts of administration, hospitality, evangelism, faith and writing. After discovering her spiritual gifts, she started a ministry facilitating short term mission trips, and shared the joy of serving others both domestically and internationally. She has also served on Women's Ministry and various other ministry groups. She is excited to serve on the team that helps others discover how they are uniquely designed to serve their Creator and ignite passion in others to serve in right-fit ministry.
